Taking the Plunge!

At long last I've finally decided to stop talking about setting up a blog and just do it! I've always had a soft spot for writing and being creative, but never had the guts (or time) to do anything about it. Starting a blog is something I've been contemplating for a while, and to my surprise I've been encouraged by a number of people to do so too! Since it's a new year I suppose there's no better time to start.
For those of you who don't know me, I'm Rebecca. I'm a 24 year old Fashion and Travel enthusiast from Dublin. Given that I love all things fashion and travel related, that's mainly what this blog is going to consist of. However, I'm also an avid Zumba go-er and best friends to a MAC make-up artist so you can expect the odd fitness & beauty post too!
I've just finished up in my full-time job as a Clerical Officer at South Dublin County Council, after a short but sweet 5 month stint. I've decided to go back to college and complete a Fashion Buying Masters, to help me on the road to getting my dream job as a Fashion Buyer. It's a risk giving up a pensionable and solid job at my age, but sometimes you just have to take risks to get where you want in life. As the saying goes, "If your dreams don't scare you, they're not big enough".
I'm excited for this new journey and can't wait to see where it takes me. Here's to 2018!
